| QIS attends Uniting Church sermon |

Rev Glennis Johnston, welcome QIS members on stage after the sermon. Emriye Yildiz, a member of QIS Ladies Group, shared her interfaith experiences in daily life as an Australian Muslim. Zeynep Korkmaz gave a little speech about the mission and the past activities of QIS. After the speech, QIS members mixed with Uniting church followers where they shared homemade pastries and drinks provided by Church followers. People mingled, tried to learn from each other.

QIS attended Sunday sermon at Broadwater Road Uniting Church. The meeting was organized by QIS and Rev Glennis Johnston from Uniting Church Ministry.


Queensland Intercultural Society participated in a joint pilgrame to Istanbul and Rome with a group of Australian Muslim and Catholic leaders.
