QIS Ramadan dinner Print E-mail
Gerard Hall at QIS Ramadan DinnerWe had our first Annual Intercultural-Interfaith Dinner at the Prestigious Blue Frog restaurant, on 26th September 2008. There were more than 40 people who attended the dinner, including Gerard Hall, Armand von Stein. Diverse community members of Brisbane was there. The speakers talked about importance of dialog from different perspectives of different faiths.David Ferrini and Armand von Stein were awarded with 2008 Building Bridges Awards. The guests from different religous and ethnic backgrounds enjoyed Ramadan dinner together in joy - in an Australian way. Gift bags filled with goodies were given to each guest at the end of the program as a Turkish Ramadan tradition.  We thank our guests for making this beautiful dinner happen with their presence.
