QIS attended Sunday sermon at Broadwater Road Uniting Church. The meeting was organized by QIS and Rev Glennis Johnston from Uniting Church Ministry.
QIS Ladies Group attended Eid Celebration Ceremony held at Griffith University Multi Faith Centre. Muslim women from various cultural backgrounds shared their experience of Ramadan on stage. An audience consisting of ladies and gentlemen from various religious and ethnic groups were present. 
Queensland Intercultural Society participated in a joint pilgrame to Istanbul and Rome with a group of Australian Muslim and Catholic leaders.
