QIS attends inauguration ceremony of the Ancestral Memorial Hall of Amitabha Buddhist Association

QIS directors Yasar Savran and Fatih Asar attended inauguration ceremony of the Ancestral Memorial Hall of the Amitabha Buddhist Association alongside hundreds of community leaders from various faith groups in Australia.

Master Chin Kung of the Amitabha Buddhist Association made the opening speech at Ancestral Memorial Hall of the Amitabha Buddhist Association. Master Chin Kung said humanity should unite around a common understanding as "we all believe in the same thing, God, Allah or Jehovah - whatever we choose to call him".

Ancestral Memorial Hall of the Amitabha Buddhist Association contains tablets representing Chinese Ancestral names. Each name is written on one tablet and thus the temple is very important to Buddhist and the Chinese people. As a gesture to people of Australia, a tablet was dedicated to the Indigineous Peoples of Australia.
